Is Age A Relationship Factor?

Age is one criteria a lot of persons look out in a relationship today aside religion, background and culture especially in Africa, Nigeria to be precise. Many persons feel that it isn't right for a guy to be dating a lady who is older that him. It feels irksome. While others feel there is no problem in it.

In reference to Amos 3:3 "Can two walk together, except they be agreed" (KJV). 

The decisions in any and every relationship should always be based on the two individuals involved and not what outsiders think or say.  See Matt 18:19 " Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in Heaven" (KJV). Though this verse is not actually talking about relationships or couples, it was Jesus Christ talking to his Disciples on dealing with a sinning brother. But this verse also clearly states something, which could also be applied in relationships too.

But if you still feel that you need to seek clarity from God concerning what you're about doing, then you're also very right. For Psalm 119:105 says "thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" (KJV). 

So don't feel bothered about this, as long as it's ordained by God everything will fall in place.
