Financial Goals In Marriage.

T
here are certain things in a marriage and within marriages that love alone can't handle. And finance happens to be one of it.

Ecclesiastes 10:19 says "A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things" (KJV). Good News Bible uses "but you can't have either without money". New International Version uses "and money is the answer for everything".

Money is something you need, I need, to remain in marriage, though it is not the basic yardstick. God is, and will always be.
But do not be ignorant to forget your duties you have towards your children, your wife. And money is what sort most of the things in this world. But please let it not be a major pursuit for you as a believer. Christ should be and he will supply you with everything that will give you the money.

Look at it from this perspective, God is what you need spiritually so that the physical can be sweet. But money is a major criteria that answers to almost all problems in this world.
So God for the spiritual and Money for the physical.

Also there is another fact you should know today, God doesn't give money, why because he doesn't create money according to Pastor Charles Osazuwa.

God doesn't have a mint or money printing machine in heaven.

Money is created by men, and so God cannot give what he doesn't have or produce.

The Question is, How do you ask God to Finance you, when he doesn't produce money??

It is already established here, that God doesn't give money, because he doesn't print money in heaven.

The only thing God can do for you as regards finance, is bless you with his REVELATION that will yield the money you need.

In the secular world, they call it IDEA, but as Christian's it is called a revelation.

Establishing this fact, your question should now be;

1. What has God bless me with.
2. What talents has he bestowed upon me that I haven't discovered??
Talents doesn't necessarily have to be "singing, dancing, playing the instruments". We have this mindset that anything that has to do with talents has to do with all these above mentioned things.

Well no, talents are more than that. "The ability to be able to solve questions that people naturally find difficult to solve is a talent".
"The ability to understand better than anyone is a talent".

If you see the books of Matthew 25:25 "He gave to each one according to his ability: to one he gave five thousand gold coins, to another he gave two thousand, and to another he gave one thousand, then he left on his trip" (KJV).

So each and everyone has a potential within our own capacity. It is just for you and I to;
  • Discover it,
  • Make use of it
  • And make wealth out of it, and not be like the man that couldn't use his talents.
Instead he buried it. Matthew 25:18 says "But the servant who had received one thousand coins went off, dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master's money" (Good News Bible).

So this is one aspect you shouldn't take lightly. Don't say because you serve God, it then becomes an excuse for you staying broke (poor).

God wants us to have dominion over the earth and subdue according to creation in Genesis.

If you see today, most Christians in Africa are of this exception. They haven't really come to understand the full potentials that lies beneath them, and so they are mostly broke.

But the question is why??

Is God not blessing them?

Well yes he is. But for those who have a spiritual balance in everything they do according to "Apostle Joshua Selman"
You can't expect God to send manner from heaven like he did during the time of the Israelites. You have to work for God to bless your labor.

James 2:20 says "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead" (KJV).
