THE HIDDEN MYSTERY OF FORNICATION.
At the rate it is now, it isn't a crime for a lady not to be a virgin anymore.
"You'll hear a lady bodly saying, I lost my virginity last night".
They even make it awkward for ladies who haven't lost their virginity. And these ladies who haven't lost theirs (virginity), cannot be proud of saying it aloud, Why, because the society is gradually changing, to allow this bad norm. Most especially in the western world.
In the Western world, most ladies at age 18 could possibly have done three abortions, use contraceptives and possibly given birth.
What a generation we are!!.
We are in a generation, that since they can't control the act of fornication, they have chosen to use other means possible to make it (fornication) safe. Whoa!!!!!
You see stuff like condoms, contraceptives and many others that are yet to be produced.
Fornication is a very terrible sin, not only to God but to yourself. See 1 Corinthians 6:18 "Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body" (KJV).
You fornicating, your life is at stake. At stake spiritually and physically.
Having premarital sex, coitus, copulation or whatever it is called means one thing.
"Your spiritual being is already damaged"
Sex is a covenant, and that is why God deliberately kept it for Married couples.
Okay let's explain with an illustration;
There is this brother and sister. They meet possibly in a church crusade and picked a likeness to each other. To like a person isn't bad at all, in fact it's part of human nature. They get to know each other better and blah, blah, blah.....
And in the process, they gave in to temptation and decided to have premarital sex along the way. What they have done is this, they have shared their body in covenant to the other person. It is like a swap, and if you're lucky and the lady has a good spirit, you have also shared in that good spirit of hers. And if it's the other way, then you have also shared from the bad spirit, but in addition to yours (depending if yours is a good or a bad spirit).
If you can look beyond the physical aspect as to what fornication is, then you won't mess with it, forgetting about the pleasure in it, because it is temporary.
Also note that fornication and Adultery are closely related.
Fornication is having sex with a person who isn't married. That is two singles coming together to have sex (covenant).
While on the other hand, Adultery is a married man having sex with a married woman who isn't his wife. (She is married to another man). And it could be the other way around. A married woman having sex with a married man who isn't her husband (the man is married to another woman).
Also Note that RAPE isn't fornication or Adultery. Rape is a forceful sexual intercourse. So those who are victims of rape shouldn't look at themselves less. Unlike fornication and adultery which is a consensual thing (both the man and the woman agreed to do the act). Even the bible says so in Deuteronomy 22:22-24 "If a man is caught having intercourse with another man's wife, both of them are to be put to death. In this way you will get rid of this evil. Suppose a man is caught in a town having intercourse with a young woman who is engaged to someone else. You are to take them outside the town and stone them to death. She is to die because she did not cry out for help, although she was in a town, where she could have been heard. And the man is to die because he had intercourse with someone who was engaged. In this way you will get rid of this evil" (Good News Bible).
There are lots of spirtual affairs that takes place when one commits fornication. And they are;
1. It deprives you of spiritual freedom with your Heavenly Father, because you are bonded to another spirit (whomever you had sex with).
2. You have chose to fast forward the plans and destiny God had for you. And in the cause of fornication, your destiny can be slipped off your hands.
3. You fornicating means you have added an extra burden to yourself. Your battle has gained more weight because that person has added his/hers to yours.
4. You are spiritually tied to that person (more like a covenant), no matter where you go, no matter the protection. Protections such as condoms and contraceptives only protects you from the physical aspect and not the spiritual aspect.
5. You have disobeyed your Heavenly Father, who is your maker. And there is a repercussion for a disobedient child.
6. The guys are the most vulnerable when it comes to spirituality (though it is opposite physically). Have you ever seen a man, who had commit the act of fornication??
Well if you have, you will see that their life is almost like a push over spiritually.
Why is it so? As a man (single) God has given you dominion from the beginning of creation even before Eve was created. It therefore means your consequences is heavier than the lady (ladies). This is because, dominion was given to you as the man, and in committing fornication you sure should be ready to carry your cross and that of the girl's on your shoulders. That is why sex was made for marriage and in marriage only.
This is one of the reasons you will always hear our Elders, seniors already in marriages saying;
Marriage is not for boys, but for matured men.
Not just men, but matured men.
Regardless of these grave consequences, God in his infinite mercy is still able to forgive your sins, if you are truly sober (remorseful).
2 Corinthians 5:17 says "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things become new" (KJV).
Repent and don't go back, and his blood will wash you clean. Because Roman's 6:1-2 says "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that the grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" (KJV).
