The Spirit Of Masturbation

Matthew 5:28 says "But now I tell you: anyone who looks at a woman and wants to possess her is guilty of committing adultery in his heart" (Good News Bible).

There are certain persons, the way they look at ladies, they can be able to view all the shapes, curves, within few seconds. That is the kind of looking the Bible is referring to in the above verse.

The first fact that we should note here is that, Masturbation begins with what the eyes sees first.

Verse 29 of the same Matthew 5 says "So if your right eyes causes you to sin, take it out and throw it away! It is much better for you to lose part of your body than to have your whole body thrown into hell" (Good News Bible).

The spirit behind Masturbation is an evil spirit. In the Bible it is called lasciviousness, adultery.

Exodus 20:12 says "You shall not commit adultery" (Amplified Bible).

Also it is important to note that, Masturbation is against God's commandments and standards. 

Masturbation is a selfish act, according to Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo. 

Masturbation is the opposite of sex. Sex is a selfless act, meant to please your spouse. 

There are many problems associated with masturbation, but our main focus is what it does in the marriage aspect, or those about to get married (engaged). 

Remember sex is for God ordained marriages only.

These are the certain things that results from excessive masturbation.

1. You're reaching a sexual climax that a normal partner who is about to marry you cannot achieve when you are finally married. This is because masturbation is a selfish act, and in so doing your level of thinking sexually is beyond what can be practiced in reality.
2. For you to be able to masturbate, you need to think dirty things. It means you need to have dirty pictures, have dirty videos, (most times pornography), and use your eyes to see filthy things. And in so doing, you're polluting your mind.
3. There is a certain point you get to in masturbation, that when you eventually get married, your spouse can't please you sexually. You become sexually un-pleasable because your level of sexual activities has reached a very high level, compared to that of your spouse. This doesn't mean you are not a virgin, because most times people feel it's a person who is not a virgin that can have such a huge appetite for sex. It may be, and not be. Your selfish act has resulted in your self-satisfaction and in so doing you have ruined the plans God had for you as regards sexuality in marriage.
4. This can lead to unfaithfulness in marriage sexually. The person is not satisfied with his/her partners level of sexual activity, then there is a high possibility that he/she will look for a place to get such satisfaction else where.

So please be very careful when it comes to masturbation. You might think that you're having fun now, but little did you know, that you're actually killing yourself gradually.
