THE PRICELESS JEWEL.
The above topic seems strange and unrealistic. A priceless jewel?
More like a jewel that doesn't have a price tag. Well the question will be, does it exist?, and for some "it doesn't exist at all, and still for others "its impossible".
Sorry to shock you, but this Priceless Jewel does exist. But the jewel we are talking about here in this write up is not the inanimate metal you see displayed in Large Boutiques or those in pawn shops.
The Priceless Jewel we are referring to is WOMAN.
Proverbs 31:10 says "How Hard it is to find a capable wife! She is worth far more than jewels!" (Good News Bible).
KJV uses "for her price is far above rubies".
Rubies and Jewels means almost the same thing. They are kind of synonymous. But we are not here to bore you with grammar and English.
So you've seen that it does exist. "The priceless jewel".
But the question is, can they be found in our generation today?
Many will be of the opinion that they are not, because they have searched and searched but couldn't find one. But you're not wrong at all for having this mindset.
But where you got it all wrong is, you went in search. "Stop doing God's work" Pastor Furtick by searching.
Did you notice what that verse says, "A virtuous woman who can find?".
It's a question. It means you can't possibly find one, and that's why you find yourself with the wrong ones. It takes God to find a virtuous woman.
But still, why did Proverbs 18:22 says "Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and Obtaineth favour of the LORD" (KJV). And Proverbs 31:10 is now saying "A virtuous woman who can find?........."
It's like a contradiction to both verses, but it's not. The benefits of Proverbs 18:22 comes from God linking you both together, which is after God has found the virtuous woman for you.
The above verse (Proverbs 18:22) isn't really saying you should find a wife from doorstep to doorstep, or you should go searching for a wife like a wanderer. But rather, it complements the end result of Proverbs 31:10.
Simply put, after God has linked you together (by matching you with a virtuous woman) and you then decide to marry that person, then Proverbs 18:22 happens (God supplies you with favor). It's that simple.
But shouldn't Proverbs 18:22 come after Proverbs 31:10 since it complements Proverbs 31:10?
Well that is a mystery left for God to answer.
Note: from our above explanation we said "you then decide". Know that you make the decisions here and not God. All God does, is to direct you both.
