Many Inexperienced Young Men.

As I was going through the Holy Bible, this phrase caught my attention. "Mamy inexperienced young men".

Proverbs 7:7 "And I saw many inexperienced young men, but noticed one foolish fellow in particular" (Good News Bible). So this phrase is actually gotten from this text above.

This above verse talking about lack of experience can be applied to several spheres and areas of life, but because of this context (this write up), we'll only be discussing the aspect that concerns relationship and marriage. Please pardon us.

Let's begin, first of all we've established this fact countless number of times on this blog that marriage is not for boys or guys, but for matured men. Not just men, but matured men.

So back to the main topic, what does it sound like to you? I mean, inexperienced young men? They're inexperienced and at the same time young!

To break it down, it simply means there are many inexperienced young men that are actually claiming to be men, but are not up to the standard of being called men, because they lack experience.

To shorten the whole definition, young men that are not qualified because they lack experience.

We'll be sharing some instances/examples of the things that actually attribute them to being inexperienced young men.

1. Imagine a young man planning to get married, without a substantial job? A job to cater for his family. It might not really be that kind of a job that pays six figures and above, but I mean he has something doing. Don't look at the amount or figures the job has to offer him, but look out for dedication, hardwork and zeal in that job of his. And believe me, he will do great if he continues.

2. A young man that believes God will do everything, even as far as putting food on his table. Whoa! The time of Manna is long gone. Even Jesus Christ the son of the Most High God said in John 9:4 "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work" (KJV).

As mighty as Jesus Christ himself, he knew the significance of hardwork. He didn't say since he's the son of his Heavenly Father, then everything should be given to him on the platter of Gold. In fact, his birth was that of a poor man's delivery (A manger) Luke 2:7.

Look at his disciples, Simon Peter, James and John the son of Zebedee were fishermen (Luke 5). Luke was a physician (Colosssians 4:14), and those that followed Apostle Paul amongst them was Zenas, who was a lawyer (Titus 3:13). Joseph the earthly father of Lord Jesus Christ was a carpenter (Mark 6:3). So you must work.

Yes we know God can call a person to do his work (ministry). But that ministry is your work and that is where you earn a living. God will provide a source of income in that ministry for you, that's if it's a genuine call. In (Deuteronomy 10:9) the Levite didn't own any land at all. But God Almighty gave them the privilege to take out of the offering the people brought to this altar, as their token of service to him (Deuteronomy 18:1-2).

Recently, Pastors do work in addition to God's ministry. Though I'm not saying you should do the same. Remember it's not the same Grace and Anointing. What works for this minister, might not actually work for the other.

The fact God has genuinely called you means, there is enough fruit to satisfy you and your family. He isn't a wicked Father, for he knows what you desire better than you do. Just stay in it wholeheartedly, stay in it full length like Bishop David Oyedepo will often say and you will soon start reaping the fruits. Make sure it's a good seed you used in sowing too. It matters a lot.
