The Mother and Child intimacy.

Yes, we all know how mothers can be so caring towards their children welfare, no matter how that child's life turns out to be (positive or negative). 

It's a motherly intimacy. Mothers are indeed powerful beings to whom they behold; 

• Their husbands, 
• Children, 
• The nation, 
• And the world.

Proverbs 31:10 explains the actual character of a virtuous woman. Do well to read through that chapter.

So let's take a look at a perfect example of the Mother and Child intimacy in the Bible.

John 2:3-5 "When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine".

Verse 4 "Woman why do you involve me?" Jesus replied "My hour has not yet come."

Verse 5: "His mother said to the servants, Do whatever he tells you." (NIV).

This is an example of a motherly intimacy. Even when it wasn't his hour of revelation to the people who he truly was, his mother already knew his purpose and the mission for his life. She might not have known everything, but she could discern that there was already a carved out path for his life.

This is a general thing with mothers and their children. Like my mom will always say "whatever you do behind my back, thinking I won't know, I will definitely know."

And I kid you not, she always knew whenever we were scheming a bad thing (while we were still little).

So this is the kind of bond we're talking about, that even when a mother is far from her child she can still connect easily, distance is not a barrier. The fathers are not this close to their children as the way mothers are.

I feel its because of the bond we shared right from when we were still little inside the womb of our mothers for nine months, for some less but all the same it's the same maternal bonding. 

When you conduct analysis on who they love most "mom" or "dad". Mom will always win the vote. Both the guys, they don't use their mothers to joke.

To state it point blank, there is no mother that is so heartless no matter how bad she may claim to be, she can pretend not to care, not to be concerned but deep down it pains her especially when she sees her children living a wayward lifestyle. 

In conclusion, if you read the books of Luke 1:26-28, the Angel of the Lord God came to report the news to Mary first on how she had found favor in the sight of the Lord God (to give birth to the Savior of the whole world), because they (women) are the ones God gave the role to preserve a generation (Womb).

Mothers you are a blessing in this world and you'll remain a blessing. Amen.
