Petition And Action.

 There comes a stage in life, when we all will look at the above topic, (marriage wise) and entirely in all sphere of life and connect better.

In the life of every single male and female Christian, there is always a petition to our Creator to bring us to our destined partner, more like a suitable partner, because he (God) actually knows the best.

He hears our petition, he gives us an assurance that he's heard our prayers (which may be through his word, the Bible, through visions, dreams, revelations, and genuine passion for a person, which might actually be the person (lady or man) he has for you). But all the same, ensure you are spiritually inclined to your Creator, that way you'll always hear him when he speaks. This is a time of petition.

Now your prayers have been answered, and the answered prayer is right in front of you (the lady or young man), what do you do? 

This is where many Christian brothers and sisters in the Lord fumbles. So many Christian's feel it's a time to speak in tongues, and Kabashing (speaking in tongues) in the Holy Spirit. It is not wrong to re-seek (permit us to use this word) confirmation from the Holy Ghost if this person is actually the one. There is no problem to this. 

The problem is, not taking action to what you've asked of the Lord. God has answered your prayers and here is the lady, here is the handsome young man God is presenting before you, and it is time for action.

Now most persons might find this answered petition hard to believe especially if it wasn't what they were expecting as at when they first felt the need to have this person in their live.

And some other time, it might be a close friend that you never expected it to be, and some other times this person might not have been the kind of person you've actually pictured in your mind. So most often you see most persons seeking reconfirmation from God. While for others it's just to be very certain, it's this person.

And in some scenario, the person won't want to accept this person due to doubt and unbelief.

Let' not bore you with so many instances, let's get back to time for action.

So now it is time for action, and all of a sudden you're feeling numb. Taking action isn't much of a big deal, (though it was for me, and I still battle it out sometimes). But it is easier to start with a simple conversation "Hi" or "Hello" then introduce yourself, this will suffice for a simple introduction. 

Take it slowly, get to know each other and gradually you then decide to engage in a relationship leading to marriage.

But on a contrary, it is not a must that whomever God brings your way, you must date or marry. God won't and will never force you to marry anybody, you have your freewill to decide to and not to. Here is a link to one of our earliest post on "God directs, but you make the decision" below. . . .

And also lastly, do not deprive the physical aspect of your life for only the Spiritual. Being Spiritual is indeed amazing, but you also need good relationships, friendships, interactions and all of such. So please strike a balance so you won't lack in any area (Spiritually and Physically).

Our Lord Jesus Christ while on earth also knew the importance of having people around him, he didn't exclude himself from people except if it was a time of interaction (prayers) with the Heavenly Father. He even had friends such as Lazarus, Mary Magdalene and Martha), his disciples too (Peter, James and John). 

John 11:5 "So although Jesus Loved Martha, Mary and Lazarus.

Verse 11: "Then he said our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep . . . . . " (New Living Translation). Please take note that the love is agape.

He was also welcomed to their home too. 

Luke 10:38 ". . . . . . . they came to a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house" (New Living Translation).

So you being spiritual doesn't make you less significant in the physical world. You're a human being, and so you mustn't deny your human form association with humans of like calibre.
