#Just Like Spray/Paint.
The beauty of marriage that should be a key aspect in every marriage can be similar to the application of paint or spray on an old piece of metal or a poorly painted apartment, though marriage is a lot sweeter when you're with the right person.
Good day to you all, how was that work, how was the outing, how was the hectic day, how was the boring day . . . . Well today permit us to introduce to you, as we share "marriage as a concept" using the illustration of spray/paint. So let's begin;
What is a spray used for?
What is paint used for?
First Illustration;
Now in the application of a spray-on a rusted iron or metal, what does it do?
It refurbishes it, it makes it brand new.
But let's shock you a little, do you know that without the rusted metal or iron there will be no need for a spray or re-spraying either way (That is, whether you're spraying or you're re-painting)?
It, therefore means, what makes it new is the presence and the occurrence of rust on the metal or iron!
Second Illustration;
Imagine you re-painting an apartment? Well, it may be the first time you're probably painting the apartment or probably a re-painting (re-decorating).
But it is also important to note that without the structure called apartment there is no point in painting or even re-painting, though painting brings out the beauty of the apartment.
Think about this; "you can't just paint the air?"
Now, let's deduce a vital point from both illustrations; that is first and second illustrations respectively.
For the first illustration; rust
For the second illustration; a poorly painted apartment needs re-painting.
So now the two words are; rust and poorly painted.
These two words (rust and poorly painted) for this post symbolize a single man and a single woman, full of flaws and weaknesses.
Now when you apply the spray to rust and re-painting to a poorly painted apartment what happens?
The beauty re-surfaces again. Then this means, the spray and re-painting symbolize marriage.
Marriage (union) is what will make the two imperfect singles become one perfect and beautiful couple because the flaws are covered and overshadowed by both partners. This is how a proper Christian marriage should be, should look like, reflecting the purity, love and peace of Christ.
Bible reference: Ecclesiastes 4:9 MSB translation:
"It's better to have a partner than go it alone. Share the work, share the wealth".
But the difference is, unlike re-painting and spraying which you'll have to do over and over again, marriage is once (for true believers of Christ). That is you don't get married twice! What needs to be done over, over, over, over, over, over, over, over, over (Lol!!!πππ, how many "over have we?", well let's just make it ten) and over again in marriage is . . . . . Honor and affection.
Bible reference: Ephesians 5:24-25 MSB translation:
Verse 24; "So just as the church submits to Christ as he exercises such leadership, wives should likewise submit to their husbands.
Verse 25; "Husbands, go all out in your love for your wives, exactly as Christ did for the church-a love marked by giving, not getting".
Thank you all for your time, God bless you all.
