Is Money Really A Yardstick For Dating?

     Money is indeed very important and it shouldn't be neglected in relationships and marriages.

But is it that important? Is it much of a necessity? Well who knows, let's unfold this together.

It is a very common thing in Nigeria to have a conversation with a lady and the next you'll hear is; "My husband has to have the ego, pepper, dollar, money and all of such.

And we ask, what is the conspiracy behind money? Why is so much attached to money? Why is it much of a big deal that most times determines if you qualify to be in a relationship with a lady?

We have often wondered on this quote below!

Money is not everything, but everything needs money......

       Firstly let's establish a point. "If you are used to having different chocolates all the time, you won't feel bothered when you see someone else eating chocolates will you?

       Also, if you're a big time farmer and let's say you're into the layer poultry farming, you won't feel the necessity to eat eggs all the time. But this will be quite different for others.

      There is no difference with money either. The environment you find yourself will determine your necessity. If you're in an environment and all you see is;

• Flashing cars,

• Big houses,
• Expensive perfumes,
• Expensive clothes,
• Expensive phones,
• Luxurious spending,
• Exuberant parties etc. You will mostly likely want to feel the cruise, what it means to have lots of money and gradually you find yourself soaked in this lifestyle. This doesn't mean everybody, but majority. And don't you forget money is needed to execute all of the above, and so very soon you begin to speak this same language "money" too.

     So your environment is a very important key in your necessity.

Money is one of the commonest language in Nigeria. But in places with better government policies and a more balanced social strata this might be quite different, because even with the little you have, you can most likely still get the best out of life.

      Now the possible language of the western countries are mostly things you hear often such as; relationship, relationship failures, divorce, failed marriages etc.

Please note, not all western countries, but the vast majority comprise this aspect.
