Chemistry At First Sight!

What is Chemistry? And what do we mean by first sight? Well does it exist?

Okay, first of all the chemistry we're talking about here is not the course or subject in college or high school. So it's more of a borrowed term for this post to define a term called feelings.

Now in high school or college, there is something particulate to the word chemistry. It is difficult to mention chemistry without talking about series of reactions. And what makes up a reaction is, mixture of solvents or solute resulting in a solution.

Let's borrow the word reaction from the context above. In defining chemistry at first sight we can take it to be reaction at first sight. Ah! That sounds better. But on the other hand there are things that makes up a reaction but in this regard not the chemical way but the emotional way.

Then let's rename the topic to make it better understandable; mixture of feelings, emotions, butterflies in the stomach at first sight. Though it's lengthy, but it does explain what we are trying to describe here better.

"I see this young lady probably for the first time, and something about her catches my attention, something hits me, there is a connection, we just click, we fit and I can feel it although I don't know exactly what it is, but I know it's something, not just something but something strong".

Is this your definition of chemistry? We think this is the world's definition of Chemistry, or what do you think?

And some other times you hear, "there wasn't chemistry between us, I didn't feel anything".

It is possible to have chemistry or feelings at first sight and it is also possible not to. It isn't a must it should be at first sight.

Sometimes chemistry or feelings grow over time when ideas are shared, values are shared and beliefs are similar. Or don't you feel this can also be called chemistry, but not at first sight? Of course it can, and it is also totally normal to actually feel chemistry or feelings at first sight.

It's no big deal, but how do you deal with having chemistry with so many persons?

The fact is, you're going to have chemistry with so many persons even when you're in a relationship or married. Dealing with it becomes crucial at this point.

Emotions are real, but they are not always true_ Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo.

The fact you feel attracted to another lady while in marriage doesn't mean you should act based on your emotions in a bad way, the fact you feel the urge to cheat on your wife doesn't mean you should go ahead and actually do it.

In conclusion to this, we've established the fact that chemistry alone can't work out a responsible relationship. You must do the extra work of commitment by making that relationship stronger than just tingling and butterflies in your stomach.

Chemistry or feelings is perfect for a new relationship, but can it sustain that relationship? Of course not, because there are times you won't feel like loving your girlfriend, there are times you won't feel like loving your husband. But what do you do?

You have to make your feelings a deliberate thing that even when you don't feel like it, it will still come out like you actually felt it.
