This shouldn't be more of a question but more of reasoning. For you has the Christian marriage helped? With so many rates of divorce even in the church today, has the Christian marriage helped?
The Christian marriage we keep saying is not the marriage that was merely conducted in church. It has to be between two believers and not two churchgoers. They have to know what they're signing into and not what everyone tells them about marriage.
If we are arguing that Christian marriage hasn't done this or that, then you should check yourself. Because really who are the Christians? You and I are the people that make up Christians. It's not enough to go to church.
As Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo will say "A church is like a hospital, some members are receiving treatment and others are not responding to treatment".
The fact you are wedded in church doesn't mean your marriage is a Godly one. Unbelievers also wed in a church, all in the name of the White wedding.
Before you judge if the Christian marriage has helped, asked yourself this question, on what grounds do you question the significance of God's initiation?
Those who genuinely follow the concept of God's precepts on marriage will never doubt the authenticity of a genuine Christian marriage.
So yes, the Christian marriage has helped, but the individuals are what is staining the whole concept. You basically can't apply the world rules to Christian marriage and expect success. 2 Corinthians 6:14 " Do not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever, for what has righteousness got to do with unrighteousness?
