Why is my boyfriend/husband always playing video games?

Games are one thing most guys definitely cannot do without. It's not a curse or something like that. And yeah, some guys don't play games that much (though just a few of them).
I don't just like, but love playing video games. It's part of my everyday routine, to spend a certain amount of time playing games.
Now playing video games is never a bad thing, but what is it replacing? What time is it occupying? What time is it denying? What is being left undone during that hour of playing video games?

Yeah, I know sometimes the game doesn't have to be at a particular time because it is very interesting, especially getting to the endpoint, where you are about to hit a high score on the leaderboard or defeat the boss.
No distractions are going to keep me away from that cursor. But Like we said, playing games isn't bad. Instead of fighting your bf or husband over his video games, why not create a time where he can have time to enjoy his games (asides from you both together) in fact to make it spicer, you can join him in his game. He'd very much appreciate it because you're participating in something that he likes instead of nagging.
