Less than 72 hours!
I just step into the compound and went to greet my parents. And Momma's first reaction was,
"Son, why did you come late? Don't you know the street isn't safe at night? Why weren't you picking up your calls? Oh...you even picked at one time and I couldn't hear you? Why didn't you leave whatever you were doing behind and head straight for home once you saw it was getting dark? And how much was your ride back home? Did you take a direct bus or you broke the journey and took the bus twice?
I stared at her looking exhausted and famished, How many questions do you want me to answer? And I'm tired, I need to bathe and rest! And besidies I'm home anyways so what's the big deal? I got into my room, and relaxed on the bed just to catch my breath.
I did have my bath, changed, and approached the kitchen. And there was momma already with my food, holding it in her hands and saying "this is for you". I told your siblings specifically not to touch it!
I smiled, whoa...I basically just ignored her questions a few minutes back and here she was again with that tender love and care.

Two days ago, which was March 19th, Sunday to be precise it was Mother's Day. And they were all celebrated and I did celebrate my mom with secret prayers and admiration.
But my bottom line is this, all Mothers should be celebrated everyday and not just on a specific day. They deserve it...Much love to all mothers all over the globe.
